Which devices are supported?

FirePlace Duo supports iPhone running iOS 18 or later. It includes the fireplace, crackle sound, clock, optional weather and three-day forecast, sleep timer and manually selected layouts. Version 2 adds native iPhone Duo layouts on iOS 27.1; this update has been submitted to Apple and is waiting for review. It is not yet available.

How do I use Tabletop?

Open Settings, then choose Tabletop under Arrangement. When there is enough space, it places the fire above your clock and forecast, with a warm glow below. Version 1 does not detect folding automatically. In Version 2 on iPhone Duo with iOS 27.1, leave Arrangement on Automatic and use a tabletop fold to place the fire above the clock and forecast. Standard iPhones retain manual arrangements.

What does the iPhone Duo preview show?

The six-mode gallery and orientation video on our homepage show a Version 2 development build in the iPhone Duo simulator. Automatic Duo fold support is not included in Version 1. The preview is work in progress; features may change and no release date has been announced.

Weather

Tap Set up weather to choose a city or allow location. Saved conditions show their update time. Refreshes are limited; the fireplace works offline.

Sound and sleep

In Version 2, recorded fireplace sound follows playback, plays even in Silent mode and stops when you leave the app. Turn Sound off in Settings to mute it. Still image and Reduce Motion pause the fire and silence the sound. The sleep timer pauses playback and allows the display to sleep normally; it is not a wake-up alarm. Earlier versions may handle Silent mode differently.

Keep the clock visible

Version 2 includes Always show clock & weather in Settings. Otherwise the readout and controls fade after 30 seconds; tap the fire to show them again.
