Your aquarium stays on your device
Aquarium Duo does not collect or transmit personal data. It has no accounts, advertising, analytics SDKs or tracking. Its aquarium video and synthesized water ambience are included in the app and play offline.
Settings and the clock
Your framing, clock positions, sound, volume, still-image and screen-wake preferences are stored locally. The clock uses your device’s time and format. No location permission is requested. The sleep timer is held in memory for the current app session.
Retention and deletion
Preferences remain until you change them or delete the app and its data using iOS Settings. Offloading can preserve its data. Device backups may retain app data under your Apple backup settings. We have no server-side account or personal data to delete.
Links and Apple services
Opening the footage or licence links takes you to third-party websites with their own privacy policies. Apple handles App Store purchases and any system diagnostics you choose to share under Apple’s policies. Aquarium Duo does not receive your payment details. See Apple’s privacy policy.
This website
joypadlabs.com is hosted by Vercel. When you visit, Vercel receives technical request information, such as your IP address, browser information and requested page, to deliver and secure the site. We have not enabled website analytics or advertising trackers, and this site does not set cookies. See Vercel’s privacy policy.

If you email us, your email address, message and attachments are processed by our email provider, Proton Mail, so we can respond. Please avoid sending sensitive information. Correspondence is retained while needed to handle the enquiry and applicable recordkeeping obligations; you can request deletion by email.

We will update this page if our data practices change. The effective date identifies this policy version.
